With the expansion of the family business branching out to include emissions in 2006, the team encountered many inconsistencies in the emissions industry – from how DPFs are cleaned to the availability of quality aftertreatment parts. Through experimentation with various cleaning methods and equipment, as well as researching best methods for de-ashing diesel particulate filters; it was out of need that Steve set his engineering team to the task of creating an automated baking oven designed specifically for cleaning multiple DPFs, to help take the guess work out of DPF cleaning and prevent expensive damage to DPFs. Thus the Filtertherm® DPF Cleaning Oven emerged.

Soon after, they began to use their manufacturing facility to produce custom gaskets of much higher quality than they had been able to find in the marketplace. Becoming frustrated with a lack of consistency in resourcing aftertreatment parts, Steve set his innovation to the task, and thus began Redline Emissions Products®.

REP started initially with light duty DPFs, v-clamps and gaskets and has since expanded its product line to be one of the most comprehensive in the industry, with over 100 SKUs for light, medium & heavy duty DPFs & DOCs, over 45 v-clamps, over 110 gaskets, over 100 sensors, over 45 weld bungs, and over 30 CACs.
